That it does not do, Bantha Poodoo. This medication, commonly used for treating babies and adults with tummy aches from intestinal gas, works by altering the surface tensions of the gas bubbles, allowing the bubbles to “collapse” and move out from the intestines more easily. It doesn’t affect the way your body produces intestinal gas in the first place.
