Dr. Cranquis' Mumbled Gripes
I'm an American physician who works in an Urgent Care clinic. I see lots of stupid or funny things that people do with-and-to their health. I cope by mumbling under my breath (and then posting about it on this pseudonymous blog). Thought you might be interested.

Today was a day for unusual events of varying enjoyability.
First, Mrs. Cranquis and I celebrated Valentine’s Day (a few days late — long story) by going on a date… to a video and game arcade. We haven’t played skeeball, Dance Dance Revolution, and random “shoot the bad guys” games in years. It was ridiculously fun.
Then, I spent 45 minutes on the phone, providing free PC tech support… for my mom… because of a problem finding the icon for the program she uses to do her taxes… ON AN IBM 386 RUNNING WINDOWS 3.1.

there’s nothing wrong with celebrating Valentine’s Day late! My bf & I celebrated on Saturday. As long as you remember and make the effort that’s what counts! I’m glad you had a nice time, I’m sure Mrs. Cranquis appreciated it :)
